Legacy

Achie and Awo Yaa Company Limited is a continuation of a family timber business that started in the 1970's in Kumasi, Ghana. Today we are operating in Ghana and the United States. We have been providing gainful employment for over 50 years, contributing to the local economy and promoting sustainable forest management in Ghana.

Plywood

Plywood is the combination of rotary veneer by the application of glue and hardener (WBP or MR) and pressed. WBP Plywood (Solid and Flexible), sanded and calibrated, and MR Plywood (Solid) produced from light and medium-density species

Curl Veneer

Sometimes termed “curl” it is manufactured from the intersection of the limb or branch with the main trunk. Equipped with two specially designed horizontal slicers. Traditionally used in the USA and Europe for high-quality architectural woodwork.
